Plant Tours

Curious about where your water goes after it leaves your home?

Join us for a guided tour of the Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility (CVWRF), Utah’s largest wastewater treatment plant.

Tour Schedule:

Public tours are offered on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tours are available for groups of 4 to 10 people. Individuals or smaller parties may be placed on a waitlist for 2-4 weeks until a group of 4 or more can be formed.

How to Sign up:

Interested in a tour? Submit a short request form using this link Opens in new tab. For groups larger than 10, the organizer must complete the form and call our main office at 801-973-9100 to coordinate scheduling. Please note, we are unable to accommodate groups larger than 50.

Visitor Requirements:

All visitors must meet the following requirements:

  • All tour participants must be at least 12 years old.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required.
  • Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided by CVWRF.
  • Please plan to arrive a few minutes early and park in the visitor parking area.
