Laboratory

CVWRF’s Laboratory is a NELAP-certified laboratory. Our mission is to provide accurate and timely data for plant process control and permit compliance, pretreatment monitoring, and entity services in a professional manner. 

The Laboratory is certified under the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The Lab provides analytical support for Plant Operations and permit compliance requirements as well as analytical support for the industrial Pretreatment Program and member entity Drinking Water and Surcharge Sampling programs.

The Lab employs traditional Wet Chemistry and Microbiology testing in addition to metals analysis by ICP-MS along with discrete colorimetric and chromatographic analysis. The Lab participates in Proficiency testing programs under all three areas of certification and undergoes routine inspections by State officials.

The Lab operates under a documented QA program to ensure method compliance and conformity of results.
